I guess it bothers me that many women want your protection but not your manners. In my mind they're a package deal.

no doubt it depends. I'm not trying to make a generalization about ALL women, I'm just observing a large percentage of western women.

i don't know.. i think that it is easy to have that idea about women these days, but i'm not so sure if i've ever actually come across it first hand. i think that deep down inside all women have the desire, even need, to be cherished, valued, and protected. just as much as every guy has the desire to fill that need. no amount of what we think of as feminism can take that away, it's how humanity was designed. these traits may be distorted, twisted, or even perverted from what was intended. but should this be a surprise? we live in a fallen world.
