| I performed a noble and selfless deed for a damsel in distress today. It felt good. Feminism has nearly killed of the gentleman, but in our hearts men still long to be valiant knights. One time at street-E in Vancouver I had to shelter the girl I was with from a threatening homeless man. Afterwards she told me that I made her feel safe. I've never received such a high compliment. I pondered it for days. It's too bad that most women won't allow men to show respect and honor by simple things like opening doors or carrying things for them.
